Our filter is unique in that is is 3.3 times more efficient (99% vs 30% tested) at particles 3/100th the size (10 microns vs .3 microns) of standard OEM filters. currently on the market The downside of this more efficient filtering is a loss of velocity at the dash vents. and also the potential for an increased power draw due to increased restrictions caused by much higher level of filtration. We use testing and engineering to limit drop in velocity <5% with all the advantages of huge filtration gains. Additionally, with proper inspection and maintenance cleaning, increased amperages were measured consistently at <0.2amp increase.
